Dr. Kumar Himansu Madhukar
Dr. Kumar Himansu Madhukar is a distinguished academician, researcher, and author with decades of contribution to the field of Social Sciences. Born on 1 January 1961, he earned his Master of Arts (First Class) and Ph.D. in Political Science from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India.
During his academic career, Dr. Madhukar served as the Head of the Department of Political Science at Shree Krishna Mahila College, Jehanabad, affiliated with Magadh University. He is widely recognized for his scholarly work and research on the historical evolution of Indian polity, the impact of socio-political developments in India, and the institutional framework of Bihar's sacred pilgrimage sites.
Committed to advancing academic research and public scholarship, Dr. Madhukar founded the Buddhist Centre for Action Research and Development Studies (BCARDS), Patna, a research institution dedicated to interdisciplinary studies and social development. Under his leadership, the Centre has promoted quality research and academic dialogue across diverse fields.
Dr. Madhukar also established two scholarly journals of national repute: The Hindustan Review and Natural Science Today. He currently serves as the General Secretary of BCARDS and as the Chief Editor of The Hindustan Review, where he oversees the publication of high-quality, peer-reviewed research and promotes academic excellence across disciplines.
In addition to his books, Dr. Madhukar has authored numerous research papers published in nationally and internationally reputed journals. His enduring commitment to research, academic leadership, and knowledge dissemination continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of Social Sciences.
